 It won the battle, Yellow Journalism had crested and began falling. 
It bottomed in 1969 when the
fairness doctrine for broadcast media was eliminated.

1. Bush 2's War on Terror and Nixon's War on Drugs
 are political hyperbole that too quickly become politically correct.

 Soon after 9/11, media critics asserted that the term "war" was not appropriate
because there is no identifiable enemy.
Once the money flowed,
prejudice for safety dominated.
The other side of best use of funds was ignored.

2. A Look at History
