14/ 48= 29% 31/48 = 65% 8,11,17 Phil Mickelson and Ernie Els win 3 of their 4,
Padraig Harrington wins 3 of his 3 in 07-08
Tiger 2 2009-15         11/30 = 37% 5,9,10 Seven different countries have won a major since Tiger's most recent.  ???

Nick only won 6 majors but did it with 11 non U.S. Players winning majors while Ben's 9 came in a world where only non U.S. players won majors.

Jack counts armature championships as Majors.

How often a Non-U.S. player came in second
to Tiger would be interesting.

Military service 1943-44, then won 13 in 1946 including his first major. Had Ben not lost 1949 due to an accident and had he won 2 majors, the 11/36 =30% would have beaten Jack1, 2 and Tiger 1's 29%.

Since Tiger last won a major Americans have won 11/30 = 37% of the majors.

When Tiger passes Jack's 18, his winning majors from 1962 to 1986 will be what history remembers. Gary being one of the best over twenty-five years is incredible.

Only two majors were played in 1942, Sam won one and Byron Nelson won the other. Only one was played in 1945 and Byron won.
